BIO-PLATEAUX
A shared territory
The BIO-PLATEAUX project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg Amazon Cooperation Program. It aims at developing the sharing of data, information and experiences on water and biodiversity in aquatic environments between French Guiana, Brazil and Suriname, particularly in the two transboundary basins of the Oiapoque and Maroni rivers.

- Communication strategy and organization of the launch of the BIO-PLATEAUX platform
- Implement the development process of the environmental education component
- Define together the methodology for the preparation of the planning for data management

Objectives :
- Follow-up of the progressive consolidation of the future BIO-PLATEAUX Observatory: methodology of the planning for Data Management, identification of the studies to be carried out in the Oyapock basin
- Presentation of awareness-raising activities and participatory science
- Improvement of hydrological monitoring in the Oyapock River Basin

Objectives:
- Follow-up of the progressive consolidation of the future BIO-PLATEAUX Observatory: methodology of the Planning for data management, presentation of awareness raising activities and participatory science

- Continued discussions for improved monitoring in the Maroni basin (focus on hydrology)
