A shared territory
The BIO-PLATEAUX project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg Amazon Cooperation Program. It aims at developing the sharing of data, information and experiences on water and biodiversity in aquatic environments between French Guiana, Brazil and Suriname, particularly in the two transboundary basins of the Oiapoque and Maroni rivers.

Spatial hydrology for the future of water resources management in Latin America, "South America Water from Space III" Congress

The "South America Water from Space III" Congress, organised by a partnership involving the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES), the French Research Institute for Development (IRD), the Brazilian Geological Survey (CPRM), and the Brazilian Association of Water Resources (ABRH), was being held from 21 to 25 November 2022, in Foz de Iguaçu, Brazil.
