The 7th Oyapock River Council was held on February 12, 2025 in Saint-Georges (France). The BIO-PLATEAUX project was honoured to participate in the annual meeting of the local cooperation consultative body.
As part of the sequence dedicated to the environment, results and activities of the BIO-PLATEAUX project were presented jointly by Mr. Fabricio Penafort (Secretary of State for International Relations and Foreign Trade of the State of Amapá - SECRICOMEX) and by Mr. Lecante (President of the Water and Biodiversity Committee of Guyana - CEB).
At the end of the River Council, 10 proposals were approved on the various subjects, in order to be submitted to the agenda of the next Joint Transboundary Commission. They are available here:

One of them is directly linked to the BIO-PLATEAUX initiative: "Bring to the Commission Mixte Territoriale the question of the legal structure of the collaborative decision-making tool BIO-PLATEAUX, in order to ensure its continuity."
